I want to tell you a little about Hacienda Chimbica and why it will be special for your big day, as well as the kind of experience we offer at each event.
ABOUT CHIMBICA
Hacienda Chimbica is a new venue for intimate weddings, meetings, and private events with natural charm, offering different spaces that can be used for an entire celebration. It is designed for those seeking an intimate, elegant, and paradisiacal event experience in Los Cabos.
It was in 2023 that a local family began its renovation, preserving the authenticity of the natural place. Each wall, bridge, and structure was created by hand by the family members themselves, using local elements such as palm leaves and reeds, representing our roots and resources of Baja California Sur.
Today, it has become a hidden gem nestled in nature, just a few steps away from civilization, the perfect place to host a celebration of love, a culinary experience, or an gathering that blends natural beauty with subtle elegance.
We look forward to your visit and share with you what we proudly call our second home.
Gardens included
Kahalka Oasis
Kahalka Oasis is the perfect place to enjoy the natural beauty, tranquility, and uniqueness that will make your special day truly magical, featuring a spectacular view of a natural spring.
Capacity: 60 guests
Ideal for: Intimate ceremony, cocktail parties, intimate dinner, or photoshoot.
Space availability: November to May
Guamuchil Garden
This garden is nestled between two guamúchil trees; its natural surroundings and reed walls create the perfect setting for a rustic celebration with subtle elegance, offering a warm and romantic atmosphere.
Capacity: 120–150 guests
Ideal for: Cocktail hour, reception, party, gatherings, festivals and others.
Space availability: November to June.
Furniture
Wooden rectangular table and crossback chair. Glassware and decor are not included.
Location in downtown San José del Cabo
Our venue has a privileged location in the Historic Center of San José del Cabo.
Located on Av. Centenario, a block away from the Historic Center and 3 km from the Hotel Zone, conveniently close to hotels, restaurants, and the Art Walk.

A garden with natural charm
If you dream of an intimate, elegant, and paradise-like wedding that reflects your style and essence—surrounded by natural charm, trees, wildflowers, oasis views, and spectacular sunsets—then Chimbica is made for you.
Venue inclusions:
Event hours until 1:00 am, with a maximum extension until 2:00 am
Outdoor lighting with string lights in the Guamúchil Garden
Rustic bar & service area
Designated area for kitchen or catering setup
Guest restrooms
Garden fumigation
One restroom attendant during the event
One maintenance and security staff member
One coordinator for vendor supervision and support
Rate & Payment Terms
The venue cost includes full access to all event spaces (gardens for ceremony & reception): Guamúchil Garden, Kahalka Oasis Garden, and string lights.
Payment can be split into installments, and the schedule can be adjusted as long as the deposit is respected:
30% – To reserve the date and sign the contract
40% – Six months before the event
30% – One month before the event
Security deposit – 15 days before
We accept credit card payments. // For domestic and international transfers, a 16% VAT will be added.

Dates from November to May correspond to high season, so we recommend booking early to secure your date.
